Filtered from that Saruyama Monkey...guy

Okay, so about that guy who recently posted on the community, I've been warned by Mr. Kouyou that he's bad news and we should all not take him up on any offer he makes, apparently he makes...evil duelists or something. He's after duelists to make them mean hearted and battle without Justice!! He doesn't even believe that duels are fun!! He's never dueled himself so he doesn't know how fun they can be!
So, just a warning that there's a villain amongst us!

...and really...why is his first name "Monkey"? Makes me think of SAL...
...I wonder how that little guy's doing anyway :D

(( Feel free to just not believe him/listen to him if you want and just think he's going off on some weird hero trip or something XD Which he kinda is... XD ))

Indeed. It seemed interesting.

[identity profile] iloves-rainbows.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
?! Does he have a curly mustache? D:

I get why he's named Monkey! To cover up his villainy! >O

[identity profile] kanna-chan.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
I've been warned about him before -- it seems like he's big into taking people with no other choice.

Thanks for the heads-up though, Juudai. :D

[identity profile] i-like-red.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 03:19 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think so, but he does have a top hat and stuff!! Kinda like those villains you see in old cartoons that tie women to train tracks!
...why do they do that anyway...? :/

That must be it!!

[identity profile] i-like-red.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
No problem, Kanna! :D I don't want to see him turn anyone here into evil duelists!

[identity profile] iloves-rainbows.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 03:28 am (UTC)(link)
Hmmmmm, yes, he does! Let's be the hero who unties the women! ...I really dunno why that happens either.

Maybe he'll tie Manjoume, Shikou, and Kanna to train tracks! >O

[identity profile] i-like-red.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
Yes! We will! And he won't even get the chance to tie them to train tracks! We'll stop him before that even happens!

[identity profile] gx-marysue.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe because getting run over by a train is a very painful way to die and the hero doesn't want the poor sap to die that way?

[identity profile] cyber-deluxe.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 08:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Monkey Saruyama? He's come to this school?

... Goddamnit.

Juudai, you don't get it. People WILL take up Saruyama's offers. Because he's the best thing they have to go to. Some duelists have bad pasts or have fallen so low, he's the only road they can follow in the hopes of a better future.

Juudai, he doesn't make them mean hearted. He simply clears away the bullshit, and exposes the true personalities of people.

A battle of Justice... how idealic you are, Juudai.

For some of us... we never got the choice of having a fun duel.

And I believe the Monkey part is a parody of his last name meaning "Monkey Mountain"

[identity profile] i-like-red.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 08:33 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm sure even people with bad pasts can get to the top without having to go down an even worse road!! Even people who have done bad things can right themselves! I don't believe that's the only option they have!

Whoever duels without having fun is really missing out :/ This guy acts like he knows everything when he's never dueled himself, I'm going to prove him wrong and show him duels are fun and that dueling isn't just some un-fun business stuff!! >/

[identity profile] cyber-deluxe.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 08:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Juudai, the people who run the main companies and promotional and managing groups in the Pro Leagues are a good but tough nosed bunch. They dislike people who are spot or are failures. Saruyama and the companies he affiliates with are generally the only way for people with spotty records to enter and/or return the Pro Leagues.

I should know. I was one of Saruyama's duelists...

Juudai... it's not that easy. For some of us, we were never allowed to duel for fun or pleasure. Only duel for victory.

He knows enough about the black side of the sport, that he controls people. The desperate and downtrodden. People WANT Saruyama, because he gives them a future, no matter how it hurts them.

... You're in over your head.

[identity profile] thunderkind.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 08:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Keh, I'm not afraid of him. I'll cream him and his thugs.

[identity profile] i-like-red.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 08:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah! We must bring this villain down!! We can't let him get away with all this! >o
Let's show him how much dueling is fun! :D

[identity profile] i-like-red.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 09:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Che, that just sounds so unreasonable! They should really give people a chance to reach the top, even if they have some bad stuff in their past, it shouldn't matter at all as long as they're okay now and want to try hard!!

You were...? Is that why you started dressing in black and lost the respect for your oppodents?
Waaait...that duel you did with Shou once, with those shock collars...is that the type of dueling he's in charge of?

Hummm, dueling just for victory and nothing else doesn't sound like much fun at all...he shouldn't make people duel like that :/

I'm still gonna show him dueling can be fun, I'll find a way.

[identity profile] cyber-deluxe.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 09:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Clean Records are a growing nessecity. Recently, there's been too many... "Bad Apples" as it were, in the Pro Leagues.

Yes. It was... He showed me who I really am.

... ::Doesn't say anything to that, so take it as a yes::

Juudai... to me... victory is the only fun I have.

... How?

[identity profile] i-like-red.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 09:34 pm (UTC)(link)
I think it's really unfair for them to do that :/

I don't believe that's who you really are, I still think you're one of the best duelists I know and I still look up to you but...I think the Kaiser I knew in the first year, the one I dueled with at the end of that year, the one who I drew with, the one I laughed with...is who you really are.

...heh, I knew it.
That way of dueling is just...wrong, I won't let him force anyone on this island into dueling like that!

Victory is fun, sure and yeah, losing doesn't feel great, but it doesn't change the fact you can still have fun either way.
I lost of Kanna in the tournament recently, that duel was still fun though!

I'm...still thinking about that :/ Normally I'd duel him but he doesn't duel so that option is out, kinda annoying really.

[identity profile] cyber-deluxe.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 09:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Business is unfair.

... I don't think that's a completely accurate assumpation. While... our duel was quite exhilirating and ... admittedly fun, Juudai, you have to realize, you're a rare if not extinct breed. Almost nobody else I've faced has ever dueled like you. The modern dueling world doesn't want people like you to exist.

That's only the beginning. There are worse fates then electro-shock Dueling.

Ah... Ms. Kirihana... I've heard her record's been ruined. And Saruyama contacted her... ::Sighes::

Victory to me is all that matters. I find no pleasure in respecting opponents who have no reason to respect me... It seems juvenile, now that I think about it.

Juudai, he's a businessman, even if you disagree with his methods, what he is doing is completely legal.

[identity profile] i-like-red.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 09:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Che, then the modern dueling world better watch out, I don't plan to go away without a fight!! I'll make it to the top, while still being the same duelist I've always been!!

Far worst fates...? You don't mean like...dark games and stuff right?

It has? Why has her record been ruined?? She's an awesome duelist! She should be given a chance without having to turn to Saruyama!

Business man or not, I'm not letting him get to anyone on this island!! I'll find a way, just need to think about it, but for now I'm keeping my eye on him.

[identity profile] cyber-deluxe.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 10:12 pm (UTC)(link)
... Good luck, Juudai.

There are other types of duels he likes... I don't know if he dabbles in the market of Darkness Games... but I know he toys with things other than Electro Shock Collars.

Juudai, there was a brief period, from what I understand, where she wasn't herself. And as a result, she obtained a rather raunchy fansite called www.dancerdom.com . And because it exists, and she effectively consented for a time, scouts have seen it, and as a result, the men behind the desks that stamp the okays of who they promote have banned her effectively from most of the mainstream companies.

Juudai, that's not your choice. Those who want Saruyama's business will go with him. Actually, he could use the law against you if you tried to stop him.

[identity profile] i-like-red.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 10:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks, Kaiser! I won't let anyone down! I stick to what I say!

Hummm, even though you say stuff he does is legal, that stuff can't be legal right? It's terrible to put any duelist though duels like that!

...O___O; Er...wow...
...I guess she got that...site...when Uebel messed her up. Heh, even with her gone, she's still left her mark I guess...
...so the Pro League won't except her because of that huh? That's a shame, that wasn't her fault, she's not like that at all...
I...should really apologize to her .__.

[identity profile] cyber-deluxe.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 10:33 pm (UTC)(link)
At least you're a better man then me.

The duelists accept it. They want his deals, so they'll jump hoops for them. There's no paperwork. There's no record they ever happen.

Yes, they have labelled her... too sexually deviant as a successful marketable duelist. It's a pity. She has excellent talent and a brillant mind, along with crack shot amounts of good luck.

And why apologize...? Uebel's sins were her own... not your fault.

[identity profile] i-like-red.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 10:43 pm (UTC)(link)
You're still an awesome person and an awesome duelist, Kaiser. Hopefully one day, you'll find a way to have more fun with duels.

So in other words, no one can prove they exist? It's awful to think such things exist though...

They really should look at what she is now, than what she was. This is why it's unfair, like you said she's got amazing talent, I've seen that talent, she should get a shot at the Pro Leagues!!

I...just feel I should. Uebel came here because of me, I still feel guilty over everything she did, I've...just been trying to put it to the back of my mind recently...

[identity profile] cyber-deluxe.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 10:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Juudai. I keep telling you, victory for me is my kind of fun. I don't find the duel satisfying. I find victory satisfying... but at the same time, I know, ultimately, I'm going to end up killing myself for being a man who only wants power. I didn't deserve this second chance, Juudai. The only end of those whose story is one of hunting power. I'm on a quest what seperates a man from a monster.

Exactly. They're legal because noone can prove they exist, thus proving their illegality.

The old men believe snapshots are enough. It exists. It taints her.

Don't be. Uebel simply feed us the sins we wanted to eat, and made us wallow in them.

[identity profile] i-like-red.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 11:11 pm (UTC)(link)
...Kaiser...

Che, I really don't like this.

I wish I didn't feel so guilty, but it's something I really can't help... I just feel like her doings are my responibility.
Guess I didn't close the door to that part of my life as easilly as I thought.

[identity profile] cyber-deluxe.livejournal.com 2007-09-08 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Juudai, I am happy with myself. I'm still ultimately the same man you dueled 2 years ago on that stage. Who fought you on that pier, so you and Shou could understand. Who fought to protect the school from Camula (Who is oddly now not dead and paying rent, wtf mate.)

The world isn't all sunshine and puppies, as Uebel showed.

We wanted the product she was selling. We gave in. We sinned.

[identity profile] i-like-red.livejournal.com 2007-09-09 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
You're really happy this way? :/ (And yeah, I was suprised about Camula too Oo;)

[identity profile] cyber-deluxe.livejournal.com 2007-09-09 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
I really feel like myself as I am now.

[identity profile] mon-millennia.livejournal.com 2007-09-10 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
Hm.

I figured as much, a manipulator.
