So I went along to Yuusei and Ushio's Riding Duel lesson yesterday! Most of it was just stuff I already knew and felt confidant with, like actually riding the D-Wheel, which I've done since Yuusei gave me the bike... but I was there with beginners too so I guess it made sense! Kinda wish I could of skipped it though and got to the bit about learning more about the dueling. Oh well! Watching the duel between Yuusei and Susan was interesting though!! To bad we didn't have time for me to duel, but I think my riding deck still needs a lot of work to it anyway!

It's the end of January already? Sheesh. Just seems like two minutes ago we were celebrating the start of 2010!

Riding duel lessons? Where'd you take those?!

What kinda stuff did they teach you guys?

Well for the first lesson it was mostly practising to ride a D-Wheel, but we eventually moved onto dueling a little bit afterwards. We mostly watched the duel between Yuusei and Susan.

Ah....yuusei-san dueled Susan?! How did that go?

It was really really awesome! Susan lost in the end though... to a Quillbolt Hedgehog with an Arms Aid on it's head!

I really can't wait to have another riding duel myself! One that isn't completely spur of the moment anyway, haha.

I've never been in a riding duel before...what's it like?

It's really exciting! It's fun to be able to duel and just feel the rush of wind going past you, y'know... kinda hard to explain but, you'll see!
It's why I want to learn more about them and actually get a licence to do them!

...icarus tried to teach how to ride a motorcycle but...I always go so slow, 'cause I'm afraid of crashing...

Once you get more used to it, that fear will go away!

Were you scared when you started out?

Hmm, not all that much really, I kinda took to riding a motorcycle like a fish to water! I learned pretty fast!

Hee...was that before or after you learned you could duel on it?

Well I always knew the bike I had was one you could duel on...though I gotta admit, doing the riding duel last year was a bit scary, since it was my first go and I could only go on what Yuusei had told me about them at the time.

I'm glad I had the foresight to wear that suit.. it would have hurt if I hadn't.

...I can't believe I got finished by an Arms Aid quillbolt.

..Except for.. all the crashing.

You'll crash less the more you get used to it!

... Time honestly goes by a bit too fast, for my tastes. Already almost February...

Next thing I know it's going to be March.

Yeah, kinda crazy, huh?

Before we know it, it'll be Christmas again!

... I really hope not, personally. Christmas isn't one of my favored times of years.

Guess it does get a little crazy that time of the year. I enjoy it myself though!
But yeah, I hope it doesn't come too quickly!

Yeah, spring is a really nice season. Everything feels fresh and new then.

It's also a lot better to take walks in. Domino probably isn't as cold as many areas would be, but it's still a bit chilly when that's your main transport.

Yeah, I like taking walks in the park a lot when it's nice, either on my own or with Asuka.

Well, only a month or two more before the weather starts to warm up, at least.
