Well, the Duel Spirit hunter was apprehended a few days ago, most of the thanks goes to both Saiga and Tomoko for that though! They both did a great job!
But now the news is going on about people who are mysteriously disappearing in the city... the news must of listed off about 30 names... that's a lot. I wonder why and how so many healthy adults are just disappearing like that.

This city never lacks surprises, THAT'S for sure.

I dunno if it's ghosts...
If these people were forced away, then they must of been tackled by maybe a large group of people, in order to over-power them, or maybe tricked away...
... still it doesn't make sense that no-one's noticed anything like that happening and the people vanished with no trace or evidence to where they've gone.

Well... I dunno how you managed it, but you befriended a lot of spirits in a very short time. You knew exactly where to find them, exactly what they wanted and you gave it to them. You gave them a home and someone to call their friend. They instantly trusted you... it's like they can tell you're a good person.

I think caring for the spirits that live here now, and being their friend is one of the most important jobs you can have! You'll learn more about them this way too.

Aaand, maybe... just maybe, you might be able to help me with some spirit things, the non-dangerous stuff. I sometimes get calls from people who don't know what to do with little spirits that wander into their houses so... I guess stuff like that.

If it's not the supernatural, it's the gangs or the Yakuza. If it's not the Yakuza and the gangs, it's a wizard or magic. If it's not magic or gangs, it's some evilutionary scientist.

... On the other hand, if it is a penalty game, it's likely they're using a method other than dueling, since they got 30 people that quickly. A faster game.

Of course, that's only conjecture. It might just be chloroform and a van.

Whatever way it is, it's worrying. Most people around that any of us would know, would most likely fit into the target area. Including ourselves.

Some of the guys I supervise were guys that vanished.

They were really tough for high school students, so I dunno what could have done this. Well, I mean, I know a lot of things that COULD have done this, but none that make sense.

Anything more you can tell me about these guys? The only thing I can think of doing at the moment is checking what details I can find about those missing... what they did for a living, any hobbies, what their lifestyle was like, just in case there's anything that might connect these people at all.

They were just normal high school students. They all had part time jobs but they didn't work together or anything. One guy worked in a bakery, another at a market, and one at a ramen stand.
