Pegasus and Kaiba-san! I e-mailed them about possible funding for and organization Saiga and I are hoping to set up, for building stronger bonds between us, the spirits and their worlds!

Yeah!! They seem really supportive of the idea! Well, Pegasus is, Kaiba-san is more supporting it because of possible business damages if things go bad between people and the spirits... but hey, any support is good support!

A) You and other members of our community have occasionally indulged in vigilante activity with well meant purposes. It's still against the law. (You cannot legally be super heroes).

B) The police and government are more willing to work with companies, organizations, and businesses. Companies have more resources, facilities, and money. They can also afford more expensive legal protection.

C) With a company dealing with human-spirit relations, you have more of a foot in the door when dealing with most of the criminal affairs that go on in this city since they tend to tie back to Duel Monsters.

D) It makes me seem like less of a bitch. Am I making sense?

More or less. It means more potential getting past yellow tape, getting increased police interaction, some limited protections as long as you don't blow up half the city, etc.

Ah! Saiga and I are hoping to start an organization to help human-spirit relations. We needed funding for it though so I sent e-mails to I2 and Kaibacorp asking if Pegasus and Kaiba-san were interested in funding the idea and they both agreed too!

So how do you plan to help with relations?

Well, I hope to make both sides understand the other more, I especially want to let people know that most spirits in the city are just like us. They just want to work and have an everyday life! We hope to do this through doing talks, writing articles and helping with any problems that arise and is brought to our attention, from small things like missing spirits or ones that wander into people's houses to big things like Spirit Hunters or any spirits who do decide to cause some trouble.

It'd be nice for us to be on good terms with the 12 Dimensions as well... so I'd like to to build up relations between us and those worlds as well, if we're given the opportunity too.

While the fair amount of spirits come from societies that are fairly similar to Earth's, namely say... Dark World and Endymion. I would like to note that not every spirit agrees with human principles and you're going to get some cultural/spiritual/ethically differences.

Some of the Duel Spirits going into homes might not acknowledge the concept of personal property. I might as well also note, some of them might view murder, violence, or torture as cleanly as you do washing your hands before dinner. It's a rather complex situation, and the source of millennium of warfare. Also, it's obnoxiously easy to offend Duel Spirits... and you get into the matter of some Duel Spirits might find the label Duel Spirit itself derogatory and inflammatory. (Ditto Duel Monster or Monster. It's a very hit and miss situation I find)

I think I saw Hyperborea's princess posting. That would be a good start for relations. The main problem is they're a highly militant nation, and if you make contact with them, you might massively offend the Ice Barrier monsters. The list goes on.

I could keep rambling on, but I probably babble too much.

Yeah, I know there's going to be some tough situations, but I guess all we can really do is try our best and just learn what we can through it too. It's going to be a learning experience for everyone I think, but it's better to at least try and see how things go, rather than to do nothing.

Yeah, I think that might be a good place to start relations too. I think it'll be one of the first things we'll look into, once we have everything set up.
