I have urgent information regarding the Numbers cards and the game they're connected to. I just witnessed one of them using someone's most weakest moment in order to take control of them. I have no idea what this Number was planning, but she had completely convinced Ruka that she was the only one Ruka could trust and that she was going to help her find Rua, which I don't believe was her intention at all.
I think this card was the reason why Ruka became more reclusive than we expected and why she began acting so paranoid.
These cards are dangerous, so be careful dueling against them and when you have them in your possession.

As for Ruka, she's safe now. She's unconscious and has a slight fever from exhaustion, but she's currently resting in the spare room of mine and Asuka's apartment where we'll be keeping an eye on her.
Also, I owe an apology to Cain. I had to use some force to get into Ruka's apartment, so the door handle and lock are kind of... missing.

Yes. From what I saw with Ruka, they can control people and influence their thoughts.

Really agitated, yeah. He's been snapping at everything and acting angry every time I'd ask him what was up, and it only started a bit after he had found that card.

Damnit, damnit. I should've gotten the card from him instead of leaving it be.

There's no way any of us could of known what these cards were doing. The important thing is that we know now and that you need to get Sadame away from it as soon as possible.

Yeah, I'll say if I manage to or not, he's kinda someone I never would've wanted to provoke.

Thanks. I'm opening an investigation into them at the Spirit Foundation, so any information from more first hand experiences with these Numbers will come in handy.

She's got a lot of healing to do, mentally. Emotional breakdowns take a while to bounce back from... sadly I know that from experience.
I think she'll be okay though. She has her friends here to help her through it.

Yes, hopefully things will be okay now. Once she wakes up, I'll see if she'll talk to me. If some of what this Number said is true, then there might be more bothering Ruka than just what happened recently.

... Well I've mostly been feeling really tingly up and down, and I feel buzzed to work, but that isn't bad.

But that IS something if you've only been feeling like that since you got the card.

Jut be careful and maybe ask others to keep an eye on how you're acting. They'll probably be able to notice any odd behaviour you show, which you may not even realize you're doing.

How long was this happening?!

I haven't gotten to speak with her yet, so I'm unsure how long she's had the card, but it well and truly had a hold on her. It had convinced her that her spirits had left her and it must of put a block on them somehow so they couldn't interfere. It had also convinced her that it was the only one Ruka could trust.
Considering her excessive reclusive behaviour recently, I'd say she's had the card for about a week, if not a bit longer.

I think she was fighting against it a little at the end though. She probably could of won, but she attacked in a way that left Shinji enough life points to counter and win.

That's why she was trying to hole up in her room and get everyone else to leave her alone...

It's awful... she was already suffering from what happened. She didn't need this at all.

She didn't do anything to deserve this! All she's done is try her best and all she's gotten for it is to be kicked when she's down again and again! It's BULLSHIT!
