(Cos I like doing these, and I've been kinda dead lately.)
You ask me a question about my characters, I answer and ask you one about yours in return, we keep going in that pattern until one of us can't think of any questions anymore, etc.

Though I think most people at Sakana she looks up too and they have all probably influenced her in some way as she's been growing up. She loves and respects everyone there.
Your icon makes me want to ask "Who would Noriko most like to punch in the face?" XD
no subject
Adam because he's a crazy paranoid ass who is trying to kill her for similar reasons.
Really, Onni's obsession that she's trying to dilute and taint mankind really rustles her jimmies.
You still planning for Tomoko to be an empathic/healing Psychic Duelist?
no subject
What does Adam think of the spirit foundation and Juudai himself?
no subject
"Tools of the Noriko conspiracy that seeks to dilute and impurify our precious bodily fluids."
Does Juudai want a flying motorcycle, car or Jet Pack? Ditto this to Tomoko.
no subject
Tomoko would possibly choose the car, but would prefer having her own wings for flight! Like a bird!!
Would Adam ever consider taking any action against the foundation and/or Juudai?
no subject
How trustworthy does Juudai find Noriko? What does Juudai think of the soul contract on the Samasus?
no subject
He trusts her as far as an acquaintance, I guess. He's sort of indifferent about what kind of trust he has in her and it would probably depend on the situation. He trusts her not to do anything dangerous or world-end-y on purpose, though could see her doing something by accident. He doesn't have much, if any, worry about her at current though.
He thinks the soul contract on the Samasus is in sliiightly better hands now, or at least, better than it being with the UOF, but he does not agree with the contract itself.
Are any of your characters planning anything for Christmas/New Year?
no subject
Why does Juudai object to the contract?
Shiroko and Suzume would probably want to spend private time with Shikou.
Noriko wants to have parties and be Noriko Claus, but she's strapped for cash and struggling with the witches.
Kouji'll probably do whatever Jinn's after.
Seiya plans to get very drunk.
Shiyoko plans to spend time with her family, barring Susan's scheme coming more forefront.
Kurochi plans to buy Sanshi a Christmas Cake and plans to take him and Sanko out to a New Year's festival.
Ai was planning similar but the recent shit with Yuri and her being split in two is likely to make an issue out of things.
So what are Ruka's plans for the future?
no subject
I think Juudai is just not keen on the idea of anyone in the family becoming pretty much a servant after their deaths as he can see, and has seen, the complications that can arise for it for those people. He's not all that super bothered over it though and he knows it's something he shouldn't meddle in, since it's been that way for a long time and it's not up to him to try and change it. Just doesn't 100% sit right with him.
I guess he feels like it should more be a choice? To whether the person wishes to come back at the expense of being a servant, or whether to choose to pass on peacefully.
Ruka's plans at the moment is just to gradually get back to as normal life as she can, while trying to look out for anyway to help get in contact with her brother, at the very least. She's just going to continue her education at the academy (After Christmas and New Year - Will be a post on that soon) and continue working at the spirit foundation.
Since Juudai has now given her a small paid position at the foundation as his official apprentice, she wishes to save up what money she can in the hopes that when she's 18, if things are still the same, she can at least get her own place somewhere, either at Sakana or elsewhere. She's so appreciative that Juudai and Asuka took her in, but she doesn't want to "burden" them more than she needs to.
She also plans to eventually go through the things that were left behind in the apartment she shared with the others. Keep the things that she thinks her brother and friends would want, should they ever come back and then sell the things that probably wouldn't be missed. She wants to free up the apartment for Cain, as she doesn't want it sitting empty.
Shiyoko has been a mother for a while now, so how is she finding things with Kamala?
no subject
She loves Kamala and finds her playing with toys and liking a lot of the same things she liked as a kid cool. She at times tends to feel she doesn't deserve to be a mom for whatever reasons. And that if she isn't perfectly normal as a mother, her daughter will be tossed out of good schools.
So how are things with Sayuri?
no subject
She's busy mostly! Full time headmaster job and having a 9-year-old child does that XD
Like I mentioned to Linka, she's been in a better mindset and has thought about dating again, but she just has no time to even look. That and she does have little confidence in herself and thinks no one would really be bothered about her.
She thinks having the security of someone else being there for both her and Tomoko would be a good idea, but she's sadly just not a very forward person about it and is rather timid.
What is Niyo's opinion on Sayuri? And Tomoko?
no subject
... Clearly I should do something about this in the future. >:D
She likes Sayuri as a neighbor, and she kind of sees herself as Tomoko's aunt at this point, and really really doesn't want to break Tomoko's heart, as if she did, she'd break.
no subject
And now I realize that her journal hasn't been updated since 2010 and so I have probably rarely mentioned this. Oops. She's been the head since it opened XD

If your characters had to choose a pet, what animal would they go for?
no subject
Suguru owns a Scary Moth as a pet, so that counts! (she's a dog person though) Flower Suguru doesn't really like most animals to have pets, comparatively. Flowers are more than enough.
Souha would probably pick a cat. Something soft and quiet and prone to curling up.
Seku can't stand cats, and would like to have a pet snake for real.
Seichi would like an aquarium of fish. Tropical fish, large fish. Something very impressive to look at with interesting characteristics! Maybe even seahorses.
Shinji would have something like a rabbit, probably.
Sanshi and Sanko would totally have a cat. They'd deal with the hair being shed and everything, they'd really just like to have a cat one day.
Setsuo isn't much for pets. He'd never be able to have a cuddly pet and fish would be a bad idea. He'd probably be one of the sorts who'd have to have a thunder-type monster as essentially a "pet".
I actually don't know what kind of pet Sadame would ever have. I don't think pet owning is a thing he'd ever think about on his own.
Shian would be baffled by the idea of anything being able to unconditionally love him. (he'd probably like a small dog or cat though)
Bright I see being the type to like gerbils, mice, rats, hamsters.
Tadazane's always wanted a puppy.
Linka loves dogs and cats and if she had the ability she probably would've become a crazy cat lady by now.
On that note though, if your characters had to choose a pet, what would they choose then? Also, is there anywhere around Domino that any of them particularly like to go to?
no subject
Ruka, I think, would go for something small and fluffy, like a rabbit or guinea pig. She loves most adorable animals though.
Likewise, Tomoko loves all animals, she'd definitely be more partial to anything adorable and fluffy though.
Sayuri is a cat person, so she does love having Cairo and Tomoko's Rescue Cat around the apartment.
Midori also is more of a cat person. Something to curl up in her lap when she's at home relaxing is something that appeals to her.
Yubel does not really understand the point of pets.
Midori likes to go to a small cafe that's near to the park. She's usually there every morning before work. Sometimes Sayuri meets up with her there.
Tomoko loves the play area in the park.
Ruka likes to hang out at the Domino City Library.
Juudai likes to relax in the park on nice days, when he has some spare time.
Are there any places in Domino that your characters like to go to?
no subject
I think Shinji likes to go into the forest at DA cause then most people won't bug him while he's talking to his cards.
Suguru likes the plaza in Domino.
Sadame, along with the park, likes to spend most of his time at any sort of library, cause he likes to research anything in the world he can like clockwork.
Souha, oddly enough, likes the arboretum, despite any possible flammability of it.
Seku doesn't really like any particular place in Domino-- honestly, he wishes it were colder in Domino. More snow.
Seichi likes to go by the beach!
Saikou likes going to fancy clothing stores, haha.
Shian likes stalking through the shopping district of the city, even if it gives him a headache later when he checks his pockets. oh dear.
Bright loves DA island. I'm pretty sure she'd never leave.
Tadazane doesn't have a particular place he likes, but he wants to go to the theme park Domino does have sometime. when he's not being crushed with the pressure of at least reaching Ra Yellow and not blowing up dueling instructors.
Had Juudai had any troubles concerning spirit to human relations that are not noted on-screen?

Are your characters planning anything for Christmas/New Year?
no subject
If the stuff with Ai and Seku is resolved by then, Seku's probably going to take her out for Christmas (it's more traditionally a couple's holiday in Japan, anyway. XD)
What's Tomoko's favorite flavor of ice cream? Also, does Sayuri ever feel like she'd be ready to get into a relationship again?
no subject
She's gotten to the point now where she has started considering it, but between her job as the headteacher of the Domino City Duel Academy and Tomoko, she just doesn't have the time to look, plus she thinks that a lot of guys would be put off by the fact that she has a child, which makes her quite unconfidant about it.
I think, if somehow, an opportunity fell onto her lap during her busy lifestyle, she'd give it a chance.
Is Shinji planning to get Ruka anything for Christmas? :D
no subject
I do notice though what Juudai's views are on the contract. How would he feel if he knew that they are essentially given that choice, when it comes to Noriko, to pass on or stick around?
no subject
I think if knew Noriko did give them that choice, then he'd be happier with that, because it at least gives them the freedom to choose what path they wanted after death.
Out of curiosity, what would your living Samasu's choose, given that choice?
no subject
At the least, I can say that given the choice outright, Shikou and Souha would probably pass on first out of all of them, at current rates, though Souha would probably think harder on it past it's simpleness. It's sorta funny thinking about it, cause you'd think that Suguru would be on that list too... but I actually see her at least trying to see if she could handle it before deciding anything.
Conversely, and while I am in his account, Seku would actually be fine with lingering-- in fact, he'd probably be far more comfortable being a soul, if you got right down to it. He's a bit of an odd sort. ... Funnily, I think Shinji would actually rather linger too, depending on how his life goes. Of course, like I said, a lot of this depends on multiple factors and the opinion can change at any time! Luckily though at least I imagine this won't come up through the course of the game.
Hmm, thinking on Shikou, Juudai's going to be around for a pretty long time, right? Do you think that after some time, Juudai might realize that others are in a similar situation as him (in terms of aging), and try to get to know them better as well? Just so he isn't exactly feeling like he's alone.
no subject
At current, Isabel is the only one he knows for certain has an extended life, though after being a part of the conservation in Shikou's journal a while back about him not looking any older, he does suspect Shikou may also be in a similar position.
Other than that, I don't think he's aware of any others who are in this kind of similar situation at this moment in time. Except those who are quite powerful beings, like Noriko and Erland.
What would Shikou's opinions be on living a much longer life than normal?
no subject
So, afraid, tense. And is the main driving reason why if he dies, he'll stay dead. Though as to his other plans concerning if it ends up being the case, he actually wants to look more into politics and try to take on a position of leadership to help upheaval Japan's official position on more unusual sorts like monsters to a more positive standpoint. But he wants to make double sure that he'll have more than enough time to do so, on a personal level... But it could end up as two different results (a good one and technically bad one) as to his position and outlook, due to his megalomania tendencies. One of the results is something I've been actually thinking about portraying though if we ever have another time travel switching plot.
Are there any characters that Juudai would definitely trust without question?
no subject
Even though Yubel can be snarky and blunt, he trusts her opinions, observations and ideas when she has them and, of course, trusts her with his life. Yubel is someone he can relay on, no matter what.
With Asuka, he knows she's a really down-to-earth and sensible person, so again, he trusts her opinions and trusts that she would give him a kick back into reality when he really needs it, if he ever gets too in-over his head with something. He also trusts her strength as a person and a duelist.
I think Shikou would be quite high on his list of trust too. I think because they get on well and he finds it easy to have conversations with him. Again, he thinks Shikou is a rather down-to-earth, calm and sensible person who he'd be able to relay on when needed.
Out of your characters, who do they trust the most?
no subject
As for other characters... I can't think of all of them, and I think a good number trust Juudai about what he does and talks about, but I can say these few definitive/interesting ones:
Seku trusts Souha, and Ai was at the top of that list, but, uh, getting stabbed by the demonic version of her really was sore for him. Adam also dropped down a lot when he went crazy, poor Seku. Also he trusts the Owner at Labirinto quite a lot. On the same note, the Flower Suguru trusts the Owner probably to an unconditional level. Like you can literally never convince her that she'd need to be wary around him or leave him, and for good reason too.
Suguru of course trusts Geo, which is why she has stuck with him despite Corvus's existence being that of Schrodinger's cat. XD; (also, really, she trusts Geo won't do anything that would get himself or her or anyone else hurt on purpose, as much as he is thick-headed on things a lot!)
Souha really trusts Noriko and Seku, and... they have a sort of half and half trust with Erland. Half of their head trusts him with what he might decide or do and whatnot... while the other half is rather convinced that he'd kill them if he had a good reason. It makes it pretty conflicting for them sometimes!
The reason Shian and Sadame live with each other is because, namely, they trust each other the most out of anyone else. Sadame, even when he was alive, had a very hard time really trusting anyone. He barely trusted his own family, and Yuria had to essentially hammer at him before he trusted her. I think the cloooosest anyone has gotten in his mind to trusting a bit outside of family has been Juudai and Noriko.
Shian, on the other hand, is kinda a paranoid mess and thinks almost everyone is out to get him, even people who actually act nice to him, like Jinn-- though funnily I think out of all of my characters, he's probably got a similar level of trust towards Juudai that Shikou has! Like the kind of level where he feels like Juudai isn't going to squish him for things he feels like he can't really control, and is generally easy-going. Might be why he enjoys dueling with him so much.
What would you say is Juudai's ideal for how he hopes the future will be?
no subject
What are your characters goals for the future?
no subject
Shinji's goals are PLOT
Shikou's goal is to find something to do with his life that's worthwhile.
Saikou's goal is to be queen ruler of the world (but she's too much of a doodlehead to do it)
Souha's goal is to become a doctor for monsters and people with unusual attributes, even if it takes them forever to do so.
Seku's goals are generally undecided. Seichi, Setsuo, and Tadazane too.
Suguru's goal is to help make the restaurant Geo got from his mom enough of a success so that they can live in relative ease.
Shian's goal is to finally be able to start traveling around the world again... but to also finally feel comfortable in his own skin before he does that.
Sadame's goal is, simply, to fully accept his situation. And to be there for Shiei. ... and also figure out a few things about his family from back then in terms of their current status of existence.
Sanko's goal is to learn better arts.
Sanshi's goal is to get Noriko's whole thing with her money issues resolved because he still has not gotten over that shock (especially since being her accountant is what he makes a living off of).
The flower Suguru's goal is to simply make sure the Owner and Shiei are happy to her fullest extent.
Bright's goal is just that she wants to enjoy being a student and helping others along!
Linka's goal is to finally be free of a certain giant dragon she never liked.
What kind of stories does Ruka like to read about? Any books or movies she's really liked?
