So recently there have been protests happening outside the main entrance to SAI's building. The same people turning up every day to shout at us through megaphones about how 'Monsters need to go back to where they came from' and all that crap.
I tried going out and speaking with them the other day, but they wouldn't listen and just threw large tomatoes at me...
... which had rocks hidden in them.
Then today we've noticed there have been a number of attempts to hack into SAI's database, probably in an effort to gain access to our secure database on those who use our services.
No need to worry, the security we have on it is top notch and caught every attempt, but just in case, I got Yusei, who designed our data security, to take a look at it. He pretty much said they were very amateur attempts and 'they really don't know what they're doing.'
Then he updated the security on it to be even harder to get into.
For now, if you need to visit SAI, contact us first on our e-mail or phone number and we'll let you know how you can enter the building safely.
For staff, if any of the protesters outside even lay a finger on you, let me know.

Right now they're thankfully just staying posted where they're are, shouting things, but we may need a little bit of muscle to scare them if they start trying to really harm anyone, or attack the building.

But I'm gonna ask someone who knows something about computers and scripts... because the talking points they were spouting started sounding like um, AI hallucinations.

Juudai, if you need additional security for the building or need someone to get these protestors to shove off, I can put the word in.
I probably shouldn't go around cracking skulls myself (even if the impulse is high after hearing that), but given how foundational a pillar of the city SAI is, Sector Security shouldn't let something like this slide.

I'm trying to avoid anything that will make things worse, or cause these people to take more drastic action. I'm in contact with a lot of the monsters and hybrids that live in the city, that are just living their lives and they've told me how worried they are about all of this.
But I also need to protect everyone who works and volunteers here, so if I feel it's needed, I'll take you up on that offer.

Honestly, I feel like most people in the city are fine with monsters being among us. I think this is just a small group that's being vocal, being empowered by the current government. It's the same people outside each day.
You think they'd have lives to live but apparently they just want to spend their days screaming that 'Monsters are taking their jobs.'
The jobs they very obviously don't have or are skipping out on, just to stand outside SAI and scream.

I know Kamala and Shiva have been experiencing pretty nasty bullying, too, so that's why I'm a bit worried. Thankfully Artemis doesn't seem to have caught any of it yet, but...
...But if it's the same people each day, we can at least run some checks. Make sure this doesn't escalate even worse. Not gonna let another big attack happen as long as I'm sitting in the big chair, y'know? I know we kind of stand out in the broader political landscape for... well, a lot of reasons. So the less of a target I can give us, the better.
