Event Post 4 - VS Souha

*It's sometime in the afternoon, Sunday and Juudai is stood outside Osiris Red waiting for Souha's arrival, his Duel Disk ready on his arm. He looks pretty happy, he hasn't had a good fun duel for a while and since he's never dueled Souha before that's extra exciting!*

*Approaches Osiris Red, adjusting the Duel Disk on his own arm. In much of the same good mood. I think Juudai's happiness is contagious over large areas.*

*Oh it definitely is~~ Anyway, upon seeing Souha, Juudai grins at him all happy-like and waves*

Mn... *takes out his deck, and then shuffles it, inserting it into the disk* Then I really shouldn't keep you waiting, now should I, Mr. Yuuki?

AH! :D *Juudai takes out his deck, also shuffles it and puts it into his own disk* Let's do this!!

Seeing as you've been waiting... You're welcome to take the first turn, Mr. Yuuki. *draws five cards*

*Juudai nods and draws five cards*

Okay! My Turn! DRAW!

*Juudai draws another card and looks at them. As he does his eyes grow a little wide as a smirk appears on his face. A good starting hand it seems*

First of all, I will activate the effect of the King of the Swamp in my hand, this allows me to substitute it for any fusion material monster and I choose E-Hero Forestman! Next I play Fusion, with this I fuse the E-Hero Forestman and E-Hero Ocean in my hand to bring out E-Hero THE EARTH!!

*The Earth appears on the field in a flash of light~!*

Then I'll normal summon E-Hero Airman to the field! Doing this I activate one of it's effects and I move a monster with Elemental Hero in it's name from my deck to my hand.

*looks at The Earth in mild surprise* "The Earth", huh? Never really knew about such a card... Very interesting, to say the least. *draws his card*

First, I activate the field magic card, Molten Destruction. Next, I normal summon Solar Flare Dragon.

*The field gets covered with what seems to be a wasteland that's in the middle of a volcanic eruption, the Solar Flare Dragon blasting out of the magma... At which it quickly dissolves into what seems to be a flaming spirit... In a jar.*

Special summon Goka, the Pyre of Malice, as the cost of destroying Solar Flare Dragon.

Goka attacks The Earth! Damnation Inferno!

*Juudai watches helplessly as The Earth is destroyed in front of him, dramatically blowing smoke from the explosion past Juudai as his life points drop to 3800*

*smiles almost apologetically, but looks more amused than anything* Sorry, Mr. Yuuki.

*Juudai looks at Souha and smirks*

You may of destroyed The Earth so soon after I got it out, but this is far from over!

My turn! Draw!

*Juudai draws a card then looks at his hand*

I'll discard the E-Hero Captain Gold in my hand to the graveyard so I can move 1 skyscraper from my deck to my hand, then... I'll play Skyscraper!!

*Souha's molten field explodes and in replace of it, huge skyscrapers burst out from the ground and tower around Souha and Juudai*

Now I summon my second E-Hero Captain Gold in my hand to the field in attack mode!

Now, with Skyscraper I can have Airman attack Goka, the Pyre of Malice!!

*Airman goes in to attack, as it does, it's attack rises from 1800 to 2800*

*takes a moment to look around at the skyscrapers... Until his pyre gets blasted. Ow. His LP goes down to 3400, as he rubs his head slightly.* Damn, that backlash does hurt somewhat, does it...?

...Though... Ah....... I expect that you'll be attacking me directly now, huh?

*Juudai smiles*

Hehehe! Yup! E-Hero Captain Gold! Attack Souha directly!!

*E-Hero Captain Gold dives in for the attack and attacks Souha directly!*

*Attacked. Braces himself for it, but it's a E-Hero vs. a weak pyro. Bracing doesn't help. LP goes down to 1300.* Aah... That went down fast, I'll have to admit.

*Juudai just stands over on his side, grinning, he's finding this duel very fun~*

Turn end, Souha! Let's see what you can do in this next turn!!

Mn... Alright. *draws... And then grins, himself. Not quite the crazy grin he usually has... But definitely close enough.*

Set one card, and then summon Horus the Black Flame Dragon, Level 4.... At which then, I activate the magic card, Level Up!

*Horus Level 4 appears momentarily, before it suddenly grows in size, and most obviously, in attack.*

I special summon Horus the Black Flame Dragon Level 6 from my deck, in Level 4's place... At which then, I attack Captain Gold!

*Juudai watches Souha's moves closely and with amazement, then braces himself as the attack from Horus LV 6 hits Captain Gold, destroying it, once again blowing smoke everywhere. His lifepoints drop to 3600, yes?*

*Yes, 3600. Signals the turn end... In which Horus grows once more.*

Horus the Black Flame Dragon Level 6, with destroying one of your monsters, is now able to level up into Horus the Black Flame Dragon Level 8!

However, my turn is now over. *smiles cheerfully at Juudai*

*Juudai stands there for a small amount of time just looking up at Horus LV 8 in surprise at how things have started to turn around in Souha's favour, but eventually his look fades back to an excited smile*

Now this is going to be a fun challenge!!

*Juudai looks at his hand, his smile going back to a slight serious expression as he realizes he can't do much against Horus LV 8 this turn*

I play a monster in defence, then set a card. Turn end!

I summon Solar Flare Dragon.

Horus the Black Flame Dragon attacks Airman! Obsidian Solar Flare!

*The trap card activates and a barrier appears around Airman, protecting it from the attack*

Solar Flare Dragon gets killed, while his life points drop down to 1000; actually looks quite like he's enjoying himself, with this.*

*Juudai notices how it seems like Souha is enjoying the duel, so he smiles even though he knows he's in a bad spot right now*

First, I summon another Solar Flare Dragon.

Next, I remove a Solar Flare Dragon in my graveyard from play, to special summon Spirit of Flames! *both monsters appear, though are very obviously dwarfed in comparison to the dragon next to them*

Spirit of Flames! Attack Airman! Seirei Oversoul Knuckler! *Spirit of Flames' attack goes up to 2000, and it attacks the opposing Hero*

*Airman is attacked and destoryed, dropping Juudai's lifepoints down to 2900!*

Argh! AIRMAN!!

And then finally... Solar Flare Dragon! Prominence Burst! *Hi, Juudai. Fire coming right at you.*

*Juudai tries his best to brace himself, but he's engulfed by flames and yes, loud screaming goes here. Juudai's lifepoints go down to 1400*

*...Goes back to the smiling cheerfully thing, again, after the attack clears.*

Wow, this got turned around quick.
My Turn...DRAW!

*Juudai looks at his hand; Miracle Fusion, O-Oversoul and Elemental Recharge. He carries on looking at them for a little while, mentally noting how both magic cards would get negated by Horus LV8's effect and the trap is no use if he has no monsters on his field.
Gradually Juudai just smiles a little as he slowly lowers his arms by his side, before looking up at Souha*

Turn...end. Attack Souha, you've won!

*...Actually looks in surprise, but then grins.* Very well! *draws, and then points at Juudai with the hand that's holding the card*

Horus! Obsidian Solar Flare!

*Juudai is attacked directly by the huge dragon, the explosion causes him to fly backwards with a yell and land on his back on the ground. When the smoke clears he can be seen laying there*

*The monsters fade away, now that the duel is over. Walks over to Juudai, and looks down at him, smiling.*

*Juudai opens his eyes and smiles up at Souha*

Hahaha~ That was a really fun duel, Souha!

*Gives him a "Gotcha!" pose from where he's laying before quickly getting up onto his feet*

You have a really powerful deck there! And Horus LV 8 sure packs a punch! Hahaha! :D

Though... Thank you for complimenting me on the deck, I guess. *rubs his head* Don't entirely remember making this one, myself, but I guess that if it works... Then it works! Right?

Still... I'm glad that I was able to finally, actually duel you... I'm really surprised that I didn't, this entire time.

I'm glad we were finally able to duel too!! It's made me realize there are a lot of people here I haven't dueled yet. Really need to get around to dueling your brother too at some point!! :D
