So hey! We got back from the tournament in Hawaii yesterday! It was so much fun and we really blew the competition away! Thanks to that, we now have an official invite to the WRGP here in Domino City! I am so excited for that!! Though I guess I've been excited for that ever since it was announced, haha!
When we weren't busy with the tournament, we got to do a hell of a lot of fun stuff in Hawaii too, just hanging out spending time on the beach, going swimming and stuff like that, I'll have to upload the photos from that at some point!

On another note, I was checking up on things with Ruka earlier and she happened to mention something about a D-Wheeler calling themselves "Ghost" who's been hassling other D-Wheelers late at night recently. She said she'd asked around but couldn't find much more information than that. I've been going through news reports online but I haven't found out anything more either... they're mostly just full of speculation on who this "mysterious D-Wheeler" could be. With the WRPG coming up, a lot seem to be suggesting it's a member of a team entered into it that's trying to eliminate the competition... a few others suggest it's just someone who's showing off and trying to make the headlines.
Urgh... and of course, there's the news sites that automatically jump to blame Duel Spirits every single time even though there's no evidence to suggest that it is.

Has anyone here run into this D-Wheeler? Or know anything more about them?

've been hearin' 'bout that Ghost guy. It's been makin' me edgy on drivin' at night. Lot 'f reports 've heard say that they only seem t' come 'round then though.

I guess they're targeting people during the night since there'd be less people around to witness it at that time, which is probably why there currently isn't that much information.

Yeah. It'd make sense at least-- if I was gonna be harassin' folks 'd rather it be when no one can ID me 'bout it.

But on th' other hand it'd probably make 'im easy t' catch in th' act if y'know what t' look for, given it. Though it'd prob'ly be easier t' just not drive at night, but 'ey, who'd do that.

Well, I'm not going to avoid driving at night, if they choose to target me then so be it. I'm not gonna let one rouge duelist scare me off the road. Gotta admit, I'm curious on why they're doing this and who exactly they are.

Saw pictures of some of his wrecks. They looked like normal wipeouts. He could just be an aggressive rider who tries to run people into wipeouts, or he tampers with safeties. Nothing supernatural.

Good to hear. You should probably be aware the police can't pull up anything on this guy - no D-Wheel information in the registrar.

Also he apparently uses some damn big monster and plays with the safeties off, so be careful.

Would someone anyone be that reckless to eliminate other opponents and do it so blatantly in the eyes of the public.

Ugh. Yeah. I've heard the complaints about the non-humans being responsible. My co-worker Ai was complaining about it that this is the latest backlash incident on them, since that whole mess with the real estate jump due to the whole influx of the wealthy and ugh.

This one gang I was dueling was talking about it, that their best members got wrecked by him, supposedly.

Onni seems to think he might be some rich guy with no day job. I'm personally thinking it's another scheme by someone, probably human this time.

Though my real thoughts? He's probably one of those Humanists who is against all the Monsters that have moved in...

I guess this guy has any number of motives for us to consider... but we can't really know for sure until someone can defeat him and get some information out of them.

I'd assume with the rate of wrecks... high damage? One Turn Kill? Perhaps he's using unbalanced cards stolen from Industrial Illusion?

I think I heard or read a rumor of cards that dealt realistic damage from Industrial Illusions that they couldn't fix the Black Boxes of, and got shelved.

... Though that brings a theory...

Maybe he's dueling without safeties? I have heard of people who revel in that sort of fight, considering a true test of will...

Yeah, that seems to be what most people are guessing, that he's dueling without the safeties on.
Urgh, hopefully we can get to the bottom of this soon before anyone else is hurt.
