My almost 2-year-old daughter just walked up to me, said 'Happy birthday', then placed a handful of Pharaoh's cat kibble in my hand and walked off.

Which means she somehow got through all the child-locks I put on the cupboard we keep the cat food in.

Again.

I'm not sure if there's a word to describe the mix of feelings between exasperation and 'okay that was kinda cute'.

I. Think so.

We'll probably be dealing with her hitting things, refusing to do things, and slamming doors shut soon too.

It's a toddler thing, I'm pretty sure. But it does feel like... a little... 'much'? Like we're dealing with the more abnormal end of the curve/scale?
