Damn, I slept most of the day. I guess I was really tired.
And... I guess part of me didn't want to see the mess when I woke up.

Okay, explanation time.
Not gonna delve into the huge specifics or anything. All you need to know is something happened last night and it's thinned the barriers between our world and the world where Duel Monsters live.
Now, while the barrier is very thin, when spirits appear, they now appear solid rather than see through and while solid they can be seen by everyone. Though they can still disappear into our cards to keep them hidden and we CAN talk to them... more in our heads than anything, like telepathy.

It's important to have them go back into their cards. Their ability to become solid uses the Duel Energy of the human partner they're connected to, if they have one. So if they stay out too long, you could pass out, in worse case scenarios, you might die. They basically drain you of energy and stuff, so you should only have them solid at short times.

Unfortunately, this has also opened our world up to monsters from the duel monster world breaking through much easily. We're open to attacks so... keep your guard up, especially those with the original power to see spirits, they maybe attracted to us specifically.

As for any parties from the duel monster world that come here intending invasions, I'd like the chance to talk to you, probably more with your leaders, before you do anything.

Until we find a way to fix the barrier, might as well try negotiating peace between any armies that might break through. The odd duel monster here and there is okay, but if an army of them breaks though, it's highly dangerous. I really don't want to face a full scale war.
Something tells me they probably won't listen to reason, but it's worth a shot. I know why they're so angry with us anyway.

... so if you aren't able to see Duel Monster spirits before this incident, can you see them now?

Yeah, pretty much. They're unable to have the see-through form anymore, which was only seeable to those with the power to see them, they can only appear as solid now, which is a form everyone can see.
But like I said, they can still dissapear into their cards and be hidden that way, if you have the card they're connected to.

If they are solid form, can they hurt me? Can they be killed?

Yes they can hurt you and kill you if they want and yes, they can be killed too.
Basiclly, they're real, so the danger is also very much real.

Human-like monsters such as... Warrior Lady of the Wasteland or Freed the Brave Warrior. Do they have a human heart? Human flesh? The brains of a human?

Sorry for asking so many questions, Yuuki-san, but like the rest of the academia, I'm trying to figure out what's going on here.

To be honest, I really don't know, there are some things that even I'm not sure of, so I can't say for sure.
