Event Post 63 - Hospital

*Laying still in his hospital bed, all Juudai could do was stare up at the ceiling of the room he was in. It'd been a while since he had last found himself in this kind of position, but his luck was due to run out eventually, right? He'd been unconscious since returning from the warp and had only just regained consciousness a few days after it. All he knew was that he definitely didn't feel 'right', he felt like there was more wrong with him than just physical injuries and even though he could still feel Yubel's presence in his soul, he hadn't heard from them. He'd even noticed that some of the injuries he had sustained while protecting Alex's life energy were not healing as fast as they usually would.
Somehow he felt like he had a long recovery ahead of him.

*Juudai looks over at her from where he is laying with a concerned look on his face. He appreciates her being there for him so much, and he knows that he's probably worried her to hell, but he can see how exhausted she looks.*

*He lets out a small sigh.*

My dark circles can shove it. And at least I'm sleeping better than I typically was when Fubuki was missing.

Yeah, I only regained consciousness today... I didn't even know a few days had already passed.

Unless you're good at recognizing people after their hair has been cursed dyed and made super wavy, Geo is barely recognizable.

"Um... Mister Y-... Juudai, just Juudai. I heard you'd gotten hurt and brought you some cards."

*He kinda starrres for a while, wondering who you are, but it eventually clicks.*

Oh! Hey Geo. Got a new hairstyle since I last saw you.

"Oh, yeah. Uh. My. Surprise little sister. Didn't like being the only person with wavy, silver hair.

She is a nightmare.

But, uh, yeah. You're... holy hell man, ya don't look good. What happened?"

He sits down, fiddling with his jacket and producing several cards out of it.

*Juudai takes the cards from him when he hands them over.*

I kiiiinda got beat up by a demon. Big time.

[When Isabel enters the room, her eyebrows shoot up. She can instantly tell something is really, really wrong, moreso than it appears.]

*Juudai looks over to her as she enters. He gives her a weak smile in some feeble attempt to try and not worry her.*

I heard from Desde...what the hell happened?!

Labrys, Galaxy-Eyes and I went after the warp demon who took Alex's life energy in order to get it back and... I guess it didn't quite go to plan.
We got the energy back but... we kinda got beat up from it. I came out the worst.

[Someone managed to get away and is slinking into the hospital room, probably sometime in the midafternoon.]

...You look like death warmed over, and I oughta know.

[ He's moving in to slump down and sit by Juudai. ]

*Juudai chuckles a little despite how he looks.*

Guess it's my turn to be laid up for a while, huh.

*At the very least, it seems he's trying to remain in high spirits. The main words being 'trying'.*

Yeah.
The demon cut me with a blade that not only wounded me physically, but damaged both Yubel and my power. It sliced right through Yubel's protection like it was nothing...
... and if it hadn't been for Winged Kuriboh, we might not of even made it out.
